Subocean Angler

An Anti-Platformer Fishing Game created for Watch + Jam 3: This Time It's Garbage!

My first ever Game Jam submission :D

Play as the Subocean Anglerfish, apex predator and sole resident of the abyssal layer beneath the bounding box. Lure unsuspecting platformers to your watery realm by disabling their collisions and ruining their physics.

A "Complete" game with four "whole" levels and minimal bug testing!

INSTRUCTIONS:

WADS/ARROWS – move anglerfish
Hold Left Mouse – Charge and set lure
Left Mouse Once Lure Is Set - Spring your trap on platformers: first click will briefly disable collision detection*. Additional clicks will add more effects depending on Lure.
Right mouse – Retract lure.

Lure all the platformers out of bounds into the sub-ocean and eat them to clear the level.

*Eventually out of bounds characters will be discovered and respawned so click quickly and often whenever you have the chance, or watch the bug reports pile up.
